Timberframing is the descendant one of the oldest building techniques; the
modern version of "Half-Timber" construction. Wooden buildings
dating from the 7th century are still standing. Today, more Americans enjoy the craftsmanship of "living inside a piece
of furniture" and the energy-efficiency that a continuous insulation
barrier creates.

Adam Wengryn, head of Restoration Technologies of NJ,
and I met at a
historic home in Franklin Township. Our work overlaps to some
extent, but when we have a request from a client for timberframing, Adam
gets my first call. Click on his logo to visit his web site for a look at some top-notch
craftsmanship and historic resources or call him at 908-812-1003. Remember to mention The
Artisans Group.
