Believe it or not, this is actually a faux fireplace that was built like a custom cabinet!

We sought historic fireplace designs that fit the architecture of the conference facility, and in collaboration with the client, adapted two New England fireplaces. 

The mantle was built up from custom mouldings.  The bricks, hearth, and all other components are readily available from our suppliers. 

As requested, the client achieved his goal of having a truly historic- appearing custom fireplace.
